Ruphin has a MBA from University of the people (California) . He also has a Master's degree of sciences in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University, Louisiana.  Ruphin especially likes meeting new people, learning new cultures; he also prefers to face new challenges.

Recently, Ruphin has been working in Kenya for humanitarian organization for the same purpose to save lives and help people in need. Throughout his professional career,  Ruphin has held a number of positions that have contributed to his skills including: Director of Finance and Operations, Operations Manager, Finance and Administration, and Senior Finance Officer..

Ruphin has joined BLACK as Associate Director and brings all this expertise to this organization. 

Joy Adams serves as the executive operations intern at BLACK. She has pledged her career to dismantling systemic racism and promoting inclusivity and equity through the work she does. With a deep-rooted passion for social justice, she has harnessed her business and educational background in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to drive meaningful change in her community. Through strategic initiatives, workshops, and collaborations with diverse stakeholders, Joy has made a significant impact in fostering awareness, challenging biases and outdated policies, and creating an equitable work environment. Her tireless efforts exemplify a commitment to creating a more just and equal society for all. She has earned her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in I/O Psychology, expected to be completed by 2025. Her long-term aspiration is to pursue a Doctorate in Sociology. She has also achieved a DEI Executive Certificate from Loyola University, alongside various other certifications in Project Management, Leadership, Cultural Competency, and Anti-Racist Training.
