BLACK Men Against Violence

BLACK Men Against Violence is a community gathering of business owners, clergy, organizations and residents living in the community who are looking at ways to make the area safer by addressing the immediate safety needs of the people living in the community.
 
Originally this created faction of the  Violence Prevention Consortium was started from the NRI (Neighborhood Recovery Initiative) models need to meet monthly with NRI partners, we have since then created from that a more grassroots roundtable, not centered on the NRI components but other safety issues concerning community members.
